Welcome to the blog hop hosted by Jo of Serendipitous Stitching
Here's the tree skirt I stitched and fully finished back in 2012. It's called "Ingredients for the Merry Christmas" and it names "Giving", "Family", "Wishes, "Friends", "Grace, "Sweets, Memories, Warmth" with lots of colorful and festive motifs. I appliquéd the aida onto velvet, backed it with kona cotton, and trimmed the whole thing with gold fringe. It's not perfect, but I do love taking it out every year.
December 26, boxing day, is normally a welcome day of rest and relaxation for me after all the preparation and festivities. Once in a while I brave the after Christmas sales. Sometimes I start a new stitchy project... last year I managed to finish a big one, and I framed it this year. I framed several pieces actually and will reveal all soon. Merry Christmas everyone!
Your tree skirt is amazing! Merry Christmas.

Relaxing is good, especially with stitching.
