On the cusp of a snowy holiday weekend, I have a brand new FO! Last night I finished my Veste Everest and weaved in all the ends. Today I'm wearing it, though it isn't blocked. I love it and it's quite warm, considering it's sleeveless. Pics this weekend, maybe with snow!
With one project off the needles, my thoughts turn to something new. However, this morning I made a little bargain with myself. I will finish Rogue Redux (seaming, zipper installation) before I cast on for anything new. So, maybe more FO photos this weekend.
what next? i'm going to knit from stash, so my choices are IK's Vintage Pink Cardigan, IK's Siena Cardigan, Norah Gaughan's Swirled Pentagon Pullover, Phildar's cabled pull, IK's Simply Marilyn, or IK's Brilliant Retro. I'm leaning towards the Siena Cardigan, because it's a fairly bulky guage, and I think it will be a quick knit. Plus it's alpaca/wool and I could really go for something cozy- it's cold outside!
I also have the Central Park Cardigan in progress- but I've hit a little roadblock. More on that later.
Other plans for the this weekend include getting started on a small, secret stitching project. I can't wait! I will try replicating the Cheesecake Factory's Louisiana chicken pasta and plan to see "Juno". This is DC's restaurant week and we have reservations at Acadiana for dinner on sunday. I have been there before and really enjoyed it- I hope C (DH) likes it!
